B. 1982 in Ann Arbor, MI. Grew up in a small yellow house a short distance from a set of railroad tracks and a large river. Learned to gold leaf from father, then at 21 during first stay in New York, learned wirework while apprenticing with a wire sculpture artist and papier mache from a fresco artist. Received an MFA from Parsons in 2008 and currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
